TCPN - The Cooperative Purchasing Network

The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) is a national governmental purchasing cooperative able to leverage one of the largest pools of purchasing potential. Contracts are bid on and awarded to national vendors, in accordance with purchasing procedures mandated by state procurement laws and regulations. This means equal pricing for the smallest entities and the largest buyers. TCPN contracts are available for use by public and private schools, colleges and universities, cities, counties, non-profits and all governmental entities.
Participation in TCPN will provide the legally required competition for contracts on commonly purchased products and services as awards are "best-value contracts" based on quality, proven performance, and most importantly pricing.
The TCPN mission is to help other governmental entities operate efficiently and economically. For an end-user, utilizing a TCPN contract means dealing directly with the vendor, using the TCPN contract as your own. However, in order to use the TCPN contract, an end-user must become a member of The Cooperative Purchasing Network. The pricing we have agreed to will soon appear on the TCPN website (www.tcpn.org). In the meantime, it is as follows:
Discounts below apply to Paragon Furniture Price List No. 26 and cover our entire product line. Freight and installation services are not included in the pricing agreement. Charges for these are negotiated separately by servicing dealer.
Order $ Size & Discount off of List Price
- $1.00 - 1,000: 15%
- $1,000 - 5,000: 17%
- $5,001 - 10,000: 20%
- $10,001 - 25,000: 22%
- $25,001 - greater: 25%
Once an end-user becomes a member, purchase orders are issued to Paragon Furniture and submitted to TCPN office for review. TCPN then forwards the order to Paragon within 1 working day.
